September – A Message from the Executive Director

Chamber Report September 2019

Message from the Executive Director, Leanna Kemp

2019 – Have we ever seen a summer go by as fast as this one?! The Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce hopes you enjoyed a summer of relaxation, vacations, time with family and friends and time to disconnect from routine. We hope you took advantage of the many beautiful places and attractions that Chilliwack has to offer.

Alas, all good times must come to an end… We are creatures of habit-whether we like it or not. As the long, lazy days of summer come to a close, many of us feel an unbidden craving for the cozy, comfortable, structured routines of Fall! Routines may not involve vacations, spontaneous water fights or the freedom to grab a good book and law on a lawn chair soaking up the sun but they offer different benefits;

  • Help keep life simple and organized
  • Promote health and wellness through structure and organization
  • Improve stress levels
  • Improve sleep patterns

Everyone is unique, not everyone requires a fully scheduled day to reap the rewards of routine, so make the choices that work for you and your family, knowing they will only make you healthier and more efficient!
