During this period Barb was also interested in the affairs of the community and feeling the need to give back to the community that had supported her local business. Getting involved with the Downtown Business Improvement Association, Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures & Tourism Chilliwack.
Today, Barb owns Fraser Valley Real Deals on Home Decor.  As she heads into her second year she is thrilled to offer fabulous home decor and clothing at affordable prices.  New inventory arrives weekly and the ever changing inspiring displays  is what keeps people coming back.
Even though she is intensely busy with this latest venture she still finds time to be involved with community events and feels very fortunate to call the Fraser Valley her home and place to do business
